Ads are my main focus right now. This page shows ad creatives made for an online furniture retailer, a brand that depends heavily on its online ads for both image and sales. Their campaigns speak to different audiences, but the core message stays the same: modern, good quality, and most of all, affordable.
Being part of a small marketing team means I don’t get super detailed briefs, but usually just something like 'make it salesy' or 'make it pretty.'
The salesy ones are more urgent, with bold red elements to grab attention. Red pretty much screams discount, so the focus is usually on the percentage or price. Adding a USP, some social proof, or even just describing the product or materials has worked especially well for wooden chairs.
For the 'pretty' ads, I stick to the brand’s style: clean, soft, and visually a bit more interesting. They could easily work as Instagram stories, since the goal is to set the tone and stay recognizable.
These ads aren’t just about selling a product. They’re about telling a story and creating a vibe. They use a more personal voice and tend to connect with people who share the same style or taste. That’s how they help build an audience.
